Australians Studying Abroad is running two series of free, illustrated lectures in Melbourne and Sydney 2008. The first is entitled 'Great Houses and Gardens' and deals with houses and gardens in Europe, Central Asia, the Indian sub-continent, Japan and Chile. The second, entitled 'Frogs Around a Pond: the Black Sea and the Mediterranean', deals with the history of the peoples who have lived on their shores.
